Main Street and Downtown Streetscape and Urban Landscape Design Strategy
Project Overview
The Main Street and Downtown area play a key role as a business and tourist destination for Bonnyville and its surrounding region. The Downtown and Main Street Streetscape and Urban Landscape Design Strategy (the Strategy) will create a vision for these areas while establishing strategies to guide revitalisation efforts. The project spans 50 Avenue (Highway 28) from 55 Street (Highway 41) to the Centennial Centre (C2).
Purpose of the Strategy
The Strategy will recommend future streetscape design options, including guidelines for façade improvements, building design, and site planning. It aims to establish an implementation plan to achieve this vision and ensure a unified look and feel along 50 Avenue.
Input from residents, business owners, and landowners will help guide the development of the Strategy.
